American 19th century landscape painter, Frederick Church, conceived and built his dream home and studio, Olana, high atop a hill overlooking the stunning natural beauty of the Hudson River Valley. The word 'olana' derives its meaning from arabic for house of treasures". Church, inspired by his travels abroad and the diverse cultures he encountered, constructed a home that was both unique and inspirational in its use of hand-crafted decorative elements in an artistic setting. A treasure in its own right.
Olana Group provides arts consultant services committed to creating a home or office environment with that same dedication to quality and craftsmanship. |
