Allison Hays Lane, director, received her BA in art history from Sarah Lawrence College, New York and her MS in museum education from Bank Street College, New York. She completed her graduate studies at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City and has been the recipient of a 1988 NEA Fellowship in Museum Administration.

Her museum work has included the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York City, the National Museum of Maritime History, Greenwich, England and exhibition projects for the Marion Koogler McNay Museum and San Antonio Museum of Art, San Antonio, Texas. From 1994-2004, Ms. Hays Lane was a private arts consultant and gallery director for the AVIART GROUP and HJW Vita NOVA.
